Journal to the Self®

A live, virtual therapeutic writing circle

Hey there, sensitive lady!

Get ready to reclaim your life one therapeutic journal entry at a time.

(Without staring at the blank page, wondering what you should write to get there.)

Imagine this …

  • You feel excited to wake up in the morning.

  • You have soulful yet tangible tools to help you navigate daily life, celebrating the good stuff and processing the hard moments.

  • You no longer spend hours overwhelmed and confused about how to take care of yourself.

  • You have more time to focus on things that matter most to you

Why?

Because you finally feel confident, secure within yourself, and are taking daily action to become the woman you want to be. You’ve finally started to love yourself – like really, truly love yourself – and embody self worth in a new, lasting kind of way.

Who knew that writing, tuning into your body’s wisdom, and connection with mindfulness could have such a transformative impact on your entire well-being?

This is the dream, but right now ...

You’re trying but keep hitting a wall. Here’s why:

You’re SO stressed out and are trying to do all the things perfectly.

You are tense, maybe even a little high strung—just not yourself. Everything is setting you one edge and it seems like your body is against you. It’s exhausting! You just want to know why this keeps happening and get some relief.

You don’t have a nourishing routine that feels helpful.

Maybe you’re already doing 10,000 self help things without much luck or you find yourself confused about what to do or where to start to create momentum for lasting healing and well-being. Is there actually a method for this?

You resist accepting where you are.

What we resist, persists. Ironically, change happens when we accept where we are, but for some reason, you’re still feeling blocked.

You feel disconnected from your body and emotions.

You’ve certainly heard about intuition and know that in order to heal it you’ve got to feel it. You want access to this wisdom but feel afraid of what you might find, Plus, your high sensitivity and empathy feels more like a curse than a blessing right now—ugh!

You self-sabotage when making progress.

You experience a sense of guilt and may even feel undeserving for wanting more than you have. You try a new approach for a while but then stop for some reason. Why does that keep happening? Is it just you?

You feel alone.

Living with high stress and various other mental health challenges can feel isolating. Sensitives have a particularly challenging healing journey being highly attuned to their environments.

On top of all this, self doubt is creeping in like crazy.

A tiny voice in the back of your mind keeps telling you that this is just how life has to be for you – that living a pay free life isn’t possible, and you don’t deserve more. And even if you did deserve it, where would you even start? How would you go about restoring the relationship you have with your body when you feel betrayed, when the trust feels so broken.

This is where you usually give up on the whole “self-care” journaling thing and revert to a busy life on autopilot.

Let’s rewrite your story, shall we?

ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE

Journal to the Self®

22 PATHWAYS FOR PERSONAL GROWTH

Journal to the Self® is a six week live, virtual, therapeutic writing program created for sensitive, conscious women just like you who want to experience greater connection to themselves mentally, physically, and even spiritually—taking out the guesswork that gets in the way from living as who you were born to be.

JOIN THE CIRCLE TODAY FOR $375

or $325 (each) if you sign up with a friend!

Don’t worry, things are about to look up ...

Healing is a journey!

You just haven’t been given the proper tools—yet—to support your nervous system, for your unique mind, body, and soul.

Therapeutic writing circles with me are designed around you, because no two women are the same and a one-size-fits-all approach to health and wellness simply doesn’t work.

My focus is always on helping you to improve your life from the inside out with warmth, empowerment, and encouragement. Through taking a strength based approach, I’ll teach you at least 22 journal practices—there may be some bonuses along the way!—for tuning in to writing for powerful healing that you can pick and choose what you need most on any given day, bringing greater aliveness to your writing and life.

Journal to the Self® is a virtual circle, held seasonally for 6 consecutive weeks, where I help you step into a life where you feel more connected to yourself, greater clarity, compassion, optimism, and peace. A life where you adore who are and care for yourself and the power of a sustainable writing practice accordingly.

The secret is YOU set the pace.

So, are you in?

So, what does the 6-week Journal to the Self® program look like?

I’m so glad you asked! Here are all the juicy details of my approach …

THESE 2 HOUR LONG SESSIONS INCLUDE:

A blend of structure and intuition. Every session is truly special and unique and unfolds as follows:

Sacred Intentions

To begin our weekly circles together, we will take a bit of time to collectively “arrive” in the circle. I will lead a grounding mindfulness activity, warm up write, and lead the group in individual intention setting for our time together. Most importantly, I will invite you to explore how do you want to feel?

Mindful Arrival + Check Ins

It is important to fully arrive for our time together and hear each woman speak their authentic truth. Giving each woman the space to express herself honestly and openly and simply be accepted and witnessed in this is powerful medicine. It is how we start every week.

Sharing + Witnessing

After each writing exercise a few women will be given the option to speak into the group again, sharing a highlight of what was surprising, alive, or curious to them. This is always optional, but the more sharing, the richer the experience and safety of the group becomes. We learn so much from one another and heal individually and collectively.

Teaching + Guiding

Each week I will introduce and cover some education and at least 3 therapeutic writing practices to use for self discovery and personal healing, whatever that means for you personally. These skills are applicable for a multitude of stressors and times of need.

Writing & Reflection

You will have lots of time and space to play with and practice each writing activity I teach on in our weekly sessions. Roughly 3-4 practices are covered each week, so that by the end you will have 22 different practices to turn to at various times of need.

Mindfulness

For many, if not all, of the writing activities these will be preceded with a brief guided mindfulness immersion activity to help you shift your focus from the group space / outer and turn your attention inward for a richer writing and healing experience. These visualizations of commonly somatic and nature based and greatly enrich the process, in my experience.

Takeaways + Conscious Closing

At the end of each circle, I invite each woman to again speak into the space and reflect on a highlight, key moment, turning point. A poem may be read or another simple closing ritual, depending on group interest / need. In these final moments I invite an offering gratitude for the time, space, commitment, and support of the land and all the things that make gathering for healing possible.

Logistics + Sacred Agreements

It is paramount that any group space be held with care. This is the responsibility of the facilitator—yours truly—and each woman / group member who joins. We all play an important role in creating and maintaining safety, privacy, and a judgement and advice free space. Confidentiality is of utmost importance as is maintaining group agreements related to sharing air space, making room for every woman to feel supported in her journey.

Here’s what life is about to look like with therapeutic writing as a part of your life:

The practices taught in Journal to the Self® are rippling out and feel accessible no matter where you are, how much (or little!) time you have, or what your access to monetary resources is. These pathways are for everyone!

FROM ONE SENSITIVE GAL TO ANOTHER,
I’VE GOT YOUR BACK.

Hi, I’m Trinity, your future journal therapist!

When it comes to creating a life that feels good, there are so many factors that play a part that it can feel a bit overwhelming.

As a sensitive, creative person myself, I know what it’s like to try unsuccessfully to follow the masses. Instead, I’m a big advocate for doing what feels right for you and I strive to give the women I support a direct experience of change instead of talking in circles about their blocks and problems.

Your healing journey does NOT have to – and frankly shouldn’t – look like everyone else’s. What I want for you instead is real, lasting well-being that’s tailored to your unique goals and life.

You are so worthy of living a nourishing, rewarding life and I know it’s possible for you because I’ve accomplished this for myself and know what it takes to commit to the multifaceted journey of inner work.

What Women Are Saying …

“Since journaling again I feel alive, resilient, confident, and SO empowered. The tools I learned in this program are resources I know I will use for the rest of my life. I am forever grateful for the benefits of Journal to the Self®! This isn’t your average writing circle; this is magic.”

— Stephanie, California

“I wish I had discovered these practices sooner in life. I love to write but haven’t always had an understanding of the ways to heal through my words. Trinity used mindfulness, plant and nature connection, along with the writing practices to teach and created such a lovely space to come home to myself.”

— Morgan, Albuquerque

STILL HERE? GREAT! LET ME LEAVE YOU WITH THIS:

Personal growth is
so much deeper than writing or prioritizing your well-being on occasion.

It’s honestly about consistency, friend.

I’ll help you create a toolbox of 22 therapeutic writing skills so you can reclaim a nourishing writing practice that you feel excited about—helping your find your own answers on your own terms, ultimately supporting you to facilitate powerful self growth and freedom for your life.

Journal to the Self®

Beginning January 17th, 2024 from 10am-12pm (Mountain Time) we will meet weekly on Wednesdays for 2 hours (or 120 minutes).

This group is limited to 8 women, to ensure intimacy. Spaces will fill quickly, so please inquire early!

I sincerely believe everyone deserves equal access to quality mental health services.

To that end, I work with women who are committed to their personal healing journey. No one will ever be turned away from my door due to a lack of funds. I reserve a limited number of sliding scale / low fee spaces to support those in need. Priority is given to BIPOC, trans, and marginalized individuls seeking support.

Got Questions? I’ve Got Your Answers!

  • Healing takes commitment of time, patience, consistency, and openness. Journal to the Self® is easy to implement and will save you time and money in the long run by having a wonderful array of writing practices to turn to.

  • What gets in your way? It’s true that you will only get out what you put in. Journal to the Self® is intended to be uplifting, fun, and repeatable, but in the end you have to be the one to put pen to paper and give it a chance. Remember, stepping up to the edge of your comfort zone NOW as opposed to later will always be a win.

  • So many others have gone through this program model and experienced powerful self discovery, myself included. I know it is possible for you too!

  • The tools taught inside Journal to the Self® are practices that you can use for the rest of your life. You pay once and get to benefit for a lifetime.

  • I’m glad you asked! In our first meeting (and each subsequent meeting as well) I will share more details about each prompt and the reasoning behind it, what it can help with, and why it’s supportive for overall well-being.
